She will be going over canna terpenes, basic herbal blending and mindful consumption tips and tricks as you blend and stuff your own hemp cone with CBD and herbal targeted toward an effect you're looking to obtain or diminish.

Velvet Roots is a small batch online CBD and wild botanical apothecary located in Denver, Co. Owner/creator Laura Murphy creates an array of CBD and herbal products, but specializes in CBD and herbal smoke blends that target self care or ritual purposes. Dedicated to her mission of mindful consumption, along with working with local farmers to provide the highest quality of herbs and cannabis, Laura educates on how to incorporate herbs and cannabis in a more intentional way to enhance our overall well being instead of fogging it. Growing up next to the Appalachian trail in upstate New York, Laura always felt called to the forest. Even though her herbal studies didn't start until later in life, Laura feels it's been with her for lifetimes. "To be honest, I could've sworn the trees told me to do it." Starting as a self taught herbalist through books and plant ID'ing, Laura then expanded her knowledge by taking herbalism courses and became certified in her field. During that time, she found her true calling through smokable herbs. After curating a handful of herbal smoke blends with cannabis and noticing a huge difference in her own mental health, Velvet Roots was born. Inviting all who are called to come discover the healing power of plants. Not just the physical medicinal properties, but the deeper wisdom and gifts they offer.
